"Nine things you think you know about Jesus that are probably wrong," by Valerie Tarico, PhD

No hostility is meant here from me toward anybody, especially Christians like Pope Francis and others who possess an attitude of benevolence for humanity. I ask for consideration regarding my attempts to correct fake presentations of the past, otherwise known as myth, not for the sake of humiliating anybody. I have contacts with Christians with whom I would like to continue warm relations. (Not as bad as saying some of my best friends are believers.)

That said, here is my tweet for today. It's a link to an article by Valerie Tarico PhD, a psychologist, author, and former director of the Children's Behavior and Learning Clinic in Bellevue, Washington, author of the book Trusting Doubt. She has a website at ValerieTerico.com.

Her article appears today at rawstory.com.
