Gulf States Support Iran Agreement

BBC News reports that "Gulf allies" are supporting the Iran nuclear deal. Today, August 3, US Secretary of State Kerry "discussed the nuclear deal" with members of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) – a regional body bringing together Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar. Kerry is said to have spoken of US guarantees concerning their national security. After the discussion, Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid al-Attiyai, according to the BBC, said: "the Iran deal represented the best option for regional stability."
